| Some organisations are large enough to want to conduct their own EMC testing. Whilst there is nothing wrong with that, it does require a lot of knowledge to successfully create the necessary facilities especially if you do not want to spend money unnecessarily on equipment not required for your product range. Chris Grimes has been involved with the design and construction of 5 such facilities World wide. If you are in the position to have the space within your Company real estate to be able to build the appropriate facilities needed to conduct your own testing, then we can design and project manage the build of a facility to your requirements. Do remember that the cost for running your own EMC facility does not stop at the price for construction and purchase of equipment. There are the costs associated with the annual calibration of all of your test equipment; breakages etc. and don't forget the manpower required to run it. Once you have your facility up and running, you will probably want to get it accredited by one of the accreditation authorities such as the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (AKAS).
